Merkaba is a word representing 2 counter rotating fields of light. One masculine tetrahedron (a pyramid with a base of 3 points) and one feminine tetrahedron. Many consider it to be a vehicle for the light body. The deep blue suggests insight or intuitive wisdom and the gold represents the awakening to oneness, often hinted at in alchemical references.
